Capitol® 7/8" Dual-Purpose Tack Strip is made of 5-ply construction materials, and securely holds carpet in place with pre-nailed high-carbon nails. The pins are angled for improved gripping and to help secure the carpet after stretching. The beveled edge keeps the carpet tucked between the tack strip and the wall, and stays in place when stretching carpet with knee kickers or standard power stretchers.
