Capitol® 1" Tack Strip is made of 5-ply construction materials, and securely holds carpet in place with pre-nailed high-carbon nails. Wider than the industry standard width of 7/8", this tack strip is fitted with nails to provide better grip of concrete subfloors. The beveled edge helps keep carpet tucked between the tack strip and the wall, and stays in place when stretching carpet with knee kickers or standard power stretchers.
