ROBERTS® 4002 Carpet Pad Adhesive is a solvent-free, environmentally friendly adhesive formulated to quickly bond carpet pads to subfloors in stretch-in carpet installations. It adheres to bonded foam, synthetic foam and rubber carpet padding and can be used in residential and commercial areas. Powered by Microban®, this antimicrobial product protection helps fight the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria that can cause product degradation. The latex-based formula dries and sets quickly and provides a long-lasting bond. Made in the USA, this is a low VOC, environmentally friendly formulation with low odor, that is odorless when dry.
Features:
- SBR latex, solvent-free adhesive, dries and sets quickly with high initial strength, providing a long-lasting bond
- For installation of rebonded, synthetic, and rubber foam carpet padding
- Bonds with concrete, APA-rated plywood, terrazzo, VCT (properly prepared), particleboard (association grade), gypcrete primed (refer to ASTM F2419)
- For indoor residential and moderate commercial use
- Up to 15 minutes open time, up to 45 minutes working tine, 48-hour cure time, and 2-hour dry time
- Up to 3 lbs. MVER and 75% RH
- Powered by Microban® for superior mold and mildew protection
- Covers up to 700 lineal feet per gallon depending on trowel type, substrate and installation conditions
