It is engineered to give tight floors and exact nail placement for 3/8" to 3/4" flooring, and is preferred by pros to install Solid & Engineered Hardwood and Stranded or Woven Bamboo Flooring requiring the use of 18-Gauge L-type cleat nails. It is expertly engineered to reduce the risk of splitting the tongue of the wood or dimpling the top prefinished surface, and designed to give special attention to nail placement while protecting the top edge of the factory finish distinctive of imported and prefinished floors. This nailer delivers efficient installation with its 18-Gauge nail and adjustable base plate. First, it sets against the front of the tongue, reducing the risk of damaging the top edge of the flooring. Second, it features a shim-less height adjustment through the action of an easy to adjust cam mechanism. Our compact, impact-triggered tool allows you to get even closer to the wall.
